name...snowkit--snowpaw-- snowstorm --snowstar
age...in moons
gender...male
clan...tigerclan
position...warrior
species...siberian tiger
apperance...To look at Snowstorm, you'd think he was the most desired example of his species and in many ways, he is. Built to be sturdy and powerful, Snowstorm is all muscle. As a fighter, his strength is his main advantage over other warriors. While not as fast as others, Snowstorm does a fair job of hunting but in general prefers training or patrolling. His pelt is an amazingly pure snowy white drawn over with thin inky black stripes that are characteristic of Siberian tigers. Along his muzzle where his whiskers are, instead of stripes he has neat black spots. Compared to some some tigers, Snowstorm has a more narrow muzzle with neat small black stripes accenting his face. One of Snowstorm's most intriguing features is the presence of his clear blue eyes that are always intense and clear, next to never clouded with indecision. They reveal a warrior with a mind keener than any claw and a total lack of hesitation. In any situation, he will act first, no matter what.
personality...Snowstorm is known for his stoic personality. He keeps a straight face no matter what and if anything, will show a look of disdain more often than any inclination of amusement or happiness. He simply doesn't like showing how he feels, so he simply doesn't. Snowstorm holds others to a high standard, especially those in his clan whom he tolerates with a dry, unwavering dislike. Why he doesn't leave, not even he really knows. He's be tempted to disloyalty a few times but in the end just shrugs and goes back to camp. Nobody would notice if he left, not really. They'd miss his fighting power but otherwise they'd probably sigh with relief to have his grumpy self out of the clan. From his point of view though, it's simply too much trouble to bother with. He has some respect in the clan, others know to leave him be and being saddled with a bratty apprentice is a slim to none chance so he figures he might as well stay where there's plenty of food and just go with the flow of things. Snowstorm's affection is hard won, whether it be as a friend or as a lover. He views most with disdain and thus doesn't usually give them the time of day. That means, if you want to befriend him or win any portion of his heart, it takes persistence, patience and determination to the end.
history...Snowkit, his brothers Stonekit and Skykit and his sisters Featherkit and Mistkit were the product of two TigerClan warriors. Well, one warrior actually. Their mother was a lovely tigress named Iceflower and their father was the clan deputy Whiteheart. Snowkit never bothered much with his siblings after a few moons. He sat and watched them play because after besting Stonekit and Skykit so many times, the thrill of play-fighting lost its appeal. Yes, even as a young kit he was stronger than them. He was stronger and bigger. The clan fully expected him to be a fantastic, powerful warrior and to this day, he's lived up to that expectation. At six moons, he and his siblings became Snowpaw, Stonepaw, Skypaw, Featherpaw and Mistpaw. Snowpaw was apprenticed to a feisty young she-warrior named Redpoppy. Through a persistence Snowpaw hadn't known possible in a warrior, she wriggled and fought her way into his heart through quirky sayings, unusual training methods and an almost constant sense of laughter that followed her around. With time, Snowpaw came to respect Redpoppy and think of her as something like an older sister. He was less guarded around her but with others, he curled his lip and walked away. They simply didn't understand him. He didn't want their praise and attention, he had no desire to be as brainless as the rest.
One night, a clan meeting was called quite suddenly. The clan leader declared Redpoppy a traitor and demanded that she be hunted like prey and killed. Snowpaw refused to harm his mentor but went out with the patrols to find her. He found her hiding in a hollowed log near the LionClan border. There was an angry gash across her neck and several other wounds bleeding sluggishly in the nighttime gloom. Redpoppy explained that the clan leader had tried to make advances on her and she had refused him. In a fit of anger, the leader had tried to kill her but she ran away. Snowpaw diverted the searching patrols and helped his mentor across the border into LionClan where she could travel to freedom. Snowpaw, smeared with his mentor's blood, went back to the clan and told them he had fought her and killed her. He'd had her scratch his muzzle and shoulder to make it convincing and when the clan asked for a body he said that she'd fallen into the river that flowed into the territory from LionClan.
As a reward, the leader named him Snowstorm for his bravery and loyalty. Snowstorm was more than happy when the old tom died his last death.
