APPEARANCE...
- Pelt; Lightpaw’s pelt is not the usual normal cheetah’s pelt. The color beneath the markings is a bronze or golden brown that catches the eye, and his markings are slightly unusual as well. They are chocolate brown in color, forming any pattern they desire on his back. Down his back are three chocolate brown stripes that end just at the base of his tail, where the end of the tail looks as if it were dipped in the color. The hair between his shoulders and on the back of his neck stands up in a bristled manner. Despite that, the rest of his coat is sleek and smooth in appearance.
- Body; Lightpaw’s body is lithe, with long legs and a slender frame that puts him in the category of one of the fastest in the cheetahclan. Despite this, he’s still growing into his legs and is a little on the clumsy side, though it’s less so than his other cub friends. Perhaps the most noticeable feature of his body are the markings on his face, combined with the color of his eyes. The markings come down from the corners of his eyes and bleed down beside his nose and onto the side of the top of his mouth. His eyes are orange-gold in color.
PERSONALITY...
- Hyperactive; Being a cub has nothing to do with how hyperactive Light is. Ever since birth, the amount of energy he has possessed has always been more than the other cubs in the clan, and it tends to get a bit obnoxious where the older members of the clan are concerned.
- Confident; The king cheetah cub exudes confidence, almost to the point of arrogance. He’s very sure of himself in everything he does and does not ever second guess himself. The confidence also has a tendency to make him slightly bossy at times.
- Amiable; Despite the exuberant confidence and abundant energy, he really is a friendly little thing, not fearing newcomers and bouncing easily from clan member to clan member, striking up conversation for a bit before moving on the befriend the next cheetah he comes across. While some don’t mind this, others tend to find it quite obnoxious.
- Enthusiastic; Light is very enthusiastic about everything he does. He throws himself wholeheartedly into being an apprentice and desires to be the best apprentice possible. The enthusiasm pushes him to meet the challenges he is presented with head on.
- Brave; He is relatively fearless, as well. It seems as though he has quite the brave heart and will face any danger necessary in a heart beat if needed. He refuses to back down.
- Temperamental; The cub has a bit of a temper, though, on top of everything else. It comes out the most when his family, or lack thereof, is brought to his attention. He’s quick witted and sharp tongued, and it sometimes gets him in some type of trouble.
- Intelligent; Don’t let the medley of other personality traits confuse you or mislead you. Though he is hyperactive and seems to have a short attention span, Lightpaw is a very intelligent cub, usually soaking in everything that is told to him. More often that not, he only needs to hear something once.
HISTORY...
- Birth to six months; Lightpaw was born in the rogue lands of novopangaea to a pair of king cheetahs and a couple of other littermates. Once the kits were able to walk and explore on their own, they did so in a group. However, one day, Lightpaw and his sister strayed farther than they had before while their other sister was napping close to their den. While they were out, tragedy struck, and an altercation between their parents and another set of rogue felines escalated to a deadly level. Upon the discovery of the bloody scene, the two cubs fled immediately, knowing they would stand a better chance of living if they left. After a few days, with no food and water, the duo stumbled into the lands of the cheetahclan and were luckily discovered by a warrior on their rounds. Sadly, Light’s sister was unable to cope with all the trauma and passed away shortly after they made it into the cheetahclan.
- Presently; Lightpaw is healthy and back to normal, excited to be an apprentice, and trying his best to stand out and be the best apprentice there is.
