A THOUSAND SAILS APPROACHING, SENT HERE IN HER NAME
NAME... Adderpaw [nicknamed Addi by those closest to her]
AGE... Seven moons
GENDER... Female
CLAN... Lionclan
POSITION... Medicine cat apprentice
SPECIES... Lion
APPEARANCE...
- Pelt; The young cub’s pelt is a brighter white than most other lions of the same hue due to the fact that there are fewer tan undertones to her. Addi still sports that thicker cub coat and it stands up slightly along her spine. As she grows, the coat will shed and become smoother and the hairs along her back will no longer stick up.
- Body; Addi’s body is still slightly uncoordinated due to her age. Her frame still shows that she is in the cub stage, but is approaching young adult by how lean and graceful it’s beginning to become. Her ears and her eyes are her most noticeable features. Her ears are slightly larger, sitting widely atop her head. Her eyes are an unusual darker gray hue that seem to see into the very soul of whoever she happens to be looking at. Her nose is mostly black, with little splotches of pink coloring breaking up the monotony. When the young cub moves, though, and her coordination is working, it’s almost as if she floats instead of actually walks. The reason for this is her step is light and graceful. She is also rather quick when needed.
PERSONALITY...
- Playful; Addi still has a playful side to her due to the fact that she is still somewhat of a cub. When she is not working on learning everything she needs to know to be the medicine cat apprentice, she can be found playing with her friends or playfully practicing her ‘hunting’ skills on random bugs.
- Serious; At the same time, the seven month old female has a serious side to her. She takes her apprentice position very seriously and tries her hardest at it at all times. If there is more required of her that overlaps her normal training, she does not shirk the responsibility.
- Dedicated; Addi’s dedication to being the medicine cat apprentice is something to be admired. The young female goes to great lengths to complete the things that are expected of her. Her desire to be the very best she can be is what drives her.
- Confident; This is one of the female’s strongest points. She is confident in herself and in her ability to retain all the information of her apprenticeship. She is also confident in other areas of her life, such as friendship. Addi is confident that she is a good friend and confidant to everyone she is close to.
- Sarcastic; Despite everything, she can have a bit of a sarcastic sense of humor. Sometimes it can come across as rude or biting, as though she’s intentionally making fun of the other, but that is not the case and if this is brought to her attention or she catches herself hurting another’s feelings because of the sarcasm, she will apologize immediately.
- Adamant; Addi is very strong willed and will stop at nothing once her mind is made up to do something. It is also nearly impossible to get her to see things in a different way than she sees them. Her opinion on things are not easily swayed and her decisions on things are not easily changed. She will stand her ground, and very rarely will she back down.
- Level headed; There is a sense of level headedness to the young female. She prefers to think before she speaks or acts, but there are times when her temper gets the best of her and she gets a bit snippy with whoever is causing her annoyance.
- Curious; The white cub is a curious little thing, driven by a desire to know what everything is and what it does and why it does what it does. Perhaps it is this that drives her dedication to her apprenticeship and her desire to learn.
HISTORY...
- Birth to six months; The first few weeks of Addi’s life were spent at her mother’s side, eating and sleeping and ‘playing’ with her siblings as best she could at such a young age. As the white cub grew, her curiosity grew as well, and soon she was asking her mother numerous questions about why things were they way they were, the effect certain things had, and many other questions of that nature. As she continued to grow, her curiosity in herbs and their effects on things became her main focus, and at four and a half months old, she expressed her desire to become the apprentice to the medicine cat of the lionclan.
- Five months to seven months; After the decision was made, the young cub threw herself into preparing to become the medicine cat apprentice, doing everything in her power to prove that she was dedicated enough to take on the position. At seven months of age, her dedication finally paid off, and the white cub finally accomplished her goal of becoming Medicine Cat Apprentice.
