APPEARANCE... Sandkit is undeniably tiny. Unlike two of his siblings, and potentially even the third should her spots fade to reveal her future shade, his coat is a pale sandy color. With each progressing day, it appears to fade even further. There has been talk of him potentially turning so faded he would be classified as "white," and although he will not get this pale he will be right on the brink, and within shadows, where there is no light to flare up the faded gold to various points of his pelt, he will indeed appear rather faded and ghostly. His eyes, like his pelt, are darker upon birth, a medium brown, but they are quickly shifting to a faded gold that, like his pelt, appears almost white. As he grows, his mane will thicken quickly and he will most definitely have a very large mane which will make him look larger than he is, though his body is feminine in its proportions.
PERSONALITY... Sandkit can be, and has been, described as an "acquired taste". Unfortunately, this is very much true. His mood shifts and flies around as if he'd got multiple personalities, though he doesn't. One minute, he'll be calm, cool, collected and civil. The next, he'll be wildly ecstatic and excited, or perhaps even murderous if the moment so strikes him. He's the kind to tell a joke, usually dry, sarcastic humor, at the wrong time. It isn't that he doesn't recognize it as a bad time, either - it's that he truly doesn't care. Every time is the right time to him. How he managed to get this personality, particularly considering he'd had little known in his life yet, is a mystery to the clan, and the fact that it is amuses him to no end.
He doesn't hold much regard for the warrior code, not unless it pleases him at that moment in time, and so he is often being labeled as the bad guy. This isn't always true, mind you. Hidden deep, deep down in his psyche is a truly noble side that would give his life for a close friend or someone he loves. The problem with this is that it shows itself so rarely, and there is almost always something in it for him when it does. He thinks of himself first and foremost. If being the good guy will increase the chance of his survival, or the survival of someone he might need to help him in the future, then trust me, he'll be the good guy.
Really, in the end, he's pretty much an egocentric, rude, overly-confidant, annoying ass who, to many a cat's displeasure, happens to be incredibly brilliant, earning himself the title of "genius", something he rubs in every waking moment. He's extremely self-centered, and is usually brutally honest, often exaggerating the truth and making it hurt all the more. Don't mistake this for an inability to lie, however - if it suits him, he can lie straight to yours face and never blink an eye, with no indication of if he's truthful or not. And he'd definitely not about to change anytime soon.
