APPEARANCE...Thistledown is a beautiful, rare tiger. His fur is not the usual bright orange, in fact- it's a color that had been commonly seeked in cats and dogs, but hardly seen in tigers. Blue. Dark gray. Tinted a bluish color- especially in the sun. Despite his beautiful coloring, other aspects of him would be his large size. He is not massive by any means, but he does happen to be slightly larger than average. His muscles are thick, but he's more tall than big muscle-wise. His eyes are a beautiful bright golden color. If it wasn't for practice- all of his emotions would have usually been completely visible through those expressive eyes. His nose is a bright pink color, average for a tiger.
PERSONALITY...Proud; Thistledown is a very proud tiger. It is not often- or even known of, where he has ever subjected to anything humiliating. He tends to jump in situations that could humiliate him though- mostly because he does have that pride (to prove that he won't be humiliated).
He tends to never give up an argument, especially when he is wrong, because he does not want to 'subject' himself to that. He tends to not apologize very often either, but it is often easy to tell when he is apologetic.
Steadfast; Thistledown is hardly ever in a hurry. He has an easygoing and mostly friendly demeanor, which most find hard to wrap their head around. He prefers an environment that is more dissent or free from disagreement. He doesn't quite like confrontation, but will deal with it within reason and when needed. Adding to this, he doesn't particularly like change. He will deal with it if it occurs, but he usually avoids it. He is more trusting of other cats he can have faith in and is more likely to comply with them than others.
Loyal; Thistledown is a strong believer in "loyalty". He is extremely loyal to Tigerclan, and cannot imagine ever betraying them (not that he ever thought about it). He looks down upon those who do not follow the Warrior Code exactly as it is spoken, and feels that they are close to what are called disgraces. He feels this way about those who betray their clan, leave their clan, etc as well. Not only does he believe in loyalty between a clan and the clan member, he believes in loyalty when it comes to cat to cat. (Mostly just tiger-to-tiger in his view.) Someone tells him a secret, and he will take that to his grave. He will follow behind that cat and stand beside them throughout most ordeals if they prove themselves to be a valuable friend/member to the clan, etc.
Superiority; This maltese colored tiger has a strong sense of superiority, though as with most people who have such a complex, he feels somewhat inferior and has a fear of failure. Those are only small though- for the most part, he does feel an exaggerated feeling of transcendence attitude.
HISTORY...Thistledown didn't have a tragic past as many characters are portrayed, in fact, he grew up very nicely. He was taken care of well by a caring mother. She babied him, for he was only one of two kits born. He was always excited at the thought of becoming an apprentice, and when he did, he was amazed and excited. He trained hard, did all of his duties, like a good apprentice. He never failed to do whatever he set his mind to, yet he was stubborn. He formed a close friendship with his mentor Blazeheart at this time- his mentor being his favorite person. Almost like a big brother.
A lot changed the day his mother died in an attack from another clan. Sure, he loved his mother, but it didn't have that great of an affect on him (though he had been a momma's boy). He moved on, knowing he should. It was a few days after that, when his biological brother and him became Warriors. It was the best day of his life, and he knew his mother was watching. But his brother obviously didn't feel that way, leaving the clan because "Nothing was keeping him there anymore". That was what really set him off on his stubborn thought upon "loyalty". Many suspected he would leave as well, but he made sure the entire clan knew that he was nothing like his brother, and would stay forever.
