CORRUPTED BLOOD RUNS THROUGH MY VEINS
I GAVE UP EVERYTHING FOR FAME
name...blackkitblackpawblackeyeray
age...30 moons
gender...male
clan...outsider
position...rogue
species...white tiger
apperance...Ray is a startlingly bulky cat, even for a tiger. His muscles are large from continuous use and his body is lithe and smooth. It's safe to say that he is usually considered a handsome cat. He knows it, too. Just the way that he carries himself exudes overconfidence to the point of being an ass about it. His tail is always raised high and he walks with a saunter with his head held high. His coat is a beautiful white, and he can't stand splotches on it. He keeps his fur in pristine condition, not being able to go for more than a few moments with dirt on it. His eyes are a cold blue, almost dead looking. Despite the smirk that's always fixed on his muzzle, there is a lurking sadness inside his eyes.
personality...Anything that could allow him to get close to someone emotionally makes him cringe away, and he doesn't want to take the chance of falling in love again. Commitment is a scary word for Ray -- he will run away from anything that remotely resembles it, which means that many might consider him to be a bit of a manwhore. His sexual preference is male, and he tries to make this as obvious as possible. Whether it's to lure a man in for an easy lay or to alienate himself from potential friends is unclear.
If you do, however, get the chance to ever get close to Ray (good luck), he's as loyal as a dog. He will fight tooth and claw to defend his friends, and he doesn't mind doing them any sort of favors (as long as it doesn't put him at much risk.) He will gain short lived bouts of bravery during a fight with someone when it comes to those he cares about, but he normally would rather turn tail from anything that resembles conflict. Instead, he'd ignore the offender or give them the cold shoulder -- they're not worth his time.
Although Ray has found that love isn't quite the thing for him, he adores his booty calls. However, he can sometimes get close to said booty calls and will find himself even falling for them. This causes him to even fear something that should have no strings attached -- he'd rather stab himself in the eye than get his heart hurt again.
history...Ray hates to admit his past, but his background in Tigerclan could be guessed by anyone based on the mannerisms he uses to hunt and kill. He was born in leaf-fall as many other clan cats were, joined by his brother Frostkit. He and his twin were mirror images of each other in both personality and mannerisms, but there was a strange darkness in Ray, giving him the name Blackkit to honor that hidden black in his heart. It wouldn't manifest itself until much later, however, when he finally became a warrior of Tigerclan. What would have been the proudest moment of his life soon turned sour after he crossed 17 moons in age. His ceremony and vigil were dictated as expected, although it occurred later than his brother's had. There was a small amount of animosity between the two because of this, but it wasn't enough to affect their relationship dramatically.
A few months after he became Blackeye, he met who he hoped would be his future mate -- Skunktail wasn't as homely as his name implied. He was a beautiful Siberian tiger who looked even more regal than Blackeye did at the time. They fell for each other quickly. Neither of them knew that this love would lead to their downfalls.
Homosexual behavior wasn't uncommon in Tigerclan at the time, but that didn't stop some of the cats from despising the behavior. That said, Skunktail and Blackeye had to keep their romance a secret. It was difficult, but the two managed for many more moons until they were finally caught in the act by a tom named Fireflank.
Through betrayal from Blackeye's friends and the cold heart of the then-active leader, Blackeye was forced into a large hole with Skunktail. The other bored warriors seemed to want him to kill his mate under the threat that they would torture Skunktail before destroying him. He was the only one who would be able to kill him quickly and painlessly, and after a short fight between the two, Blackeye's heavy paw finally tore through his mate's jugular. At that moment, Blackeye turned away from his clan who had so wretchedly betrayed him and kept his back to his past. He went out into the wild as a rogue, immediately judging and lashing out at any cat who he recognized had the scent of a warrior on their pelts. He turned bitter and lonely, only caring for company in order to satisfy his primal urges before tossing them away. It doesn't matter to him if the clans have dramatically changed in behavior in the many moons that he has been alone -- he can never bring himself to forgive them.
