CAPTAIN, I CAN NAME FINGERS AND POINT NAMES!
CAPTAIN, I CAN NAME FINGERS AND POINT NAMES!
name...Rainkit,Rainpaw, Rainwhisker
age...25 moons
gender...Male
clan...TigerClan
position...Warrior
species...Bengal Tiger
apperance...Rainwhisker is built like a Bengal tiger, so, larger than a Chinese tiger, but smaller than a Siberian. Despite the fact that he's rather medium in size, he's a strongly built cat. He's not built for the run and then pounce, he's built for the tackle, maul, and then walk away. He's well built, and rather handsome, if he does say so himself. Despite being built like a line-backer, like most males of his species, he is different than most, simply because of his snowy coat. He's not a sooty white, and he's no golden tabby, he's a snowy white, make sure you don't mix him up. His stripes appear as if someone has taken a black marker, and drawn all over the snowy white fur of his. Set into his white furred face, are two eyes that are a starling blue in color, and at the end of his muzzle is a pink nose. His right ear, bears one of his only scars, a niche taken out at the outside base of it.
personality...Odd one out - Even as a young kit, Rainwhisker was always the odd man out, the last to be chosen for games, and the last to a meal. It's just that he's not assertive nor moody as other cats. He's actually quite a genuine and kind cat, who would prefer to spend an afternoon training apprentices or hunting that fighting and quarreling. His gentle and easy going nature has seemed odd to some, and a blessing to others. He often enjoys speaking to those of like mind, and when he can, telling stories to the kits, when he has nothing else to do, which is definitely not often. Some have said that he's more like a elder in a warrior's body, and that by time he is an actual elder, he'd have the wisdom to go with his laid back personality.
Innocence in chaos - Most would not describe Rainwhisker as a vicious, dangerous tom, more like a butterfly on a spider's web. He's not most likely to go off the deep end and try to claw your face off, or remove your ears with his teeth, or spit challenges at every cat that happens to walk by. Most supposedly subtle harsh comments bypass him, though by choice or honest innocence, no one is quite sure. For such a large cat, he's really quite a gentle cat in the long run. He's also a tad lazy, enjoying his chances to sleep in, and often has to be poked and prodded when he has to wake to go dawn patrol. Naps and sunning chances are often his favorite time of day, and if deprived of sleep long enough, he can get quite grumpy towards just about everyone.
Not mean, just shy - As some cats will ignore you or speak only a few words to you out of general unkindness, Rainwhisker isn't a hugely chatty cat. If he doesn't know you well, you can bet that he isn't going to sit and hold a long conversation with you. Even if you've been friends with him since apprentice days, he probably won't talk much, often preferring others to talk. He's a great listener, and if asked for advice or opinion, he'll give his best, but he's not always the smartest or wisest cat around. Of course, if he does have a beef with you, then he'll treat you with silence. He's not one to enjoy confrontation, and often it makes him twitchy. It was often something that made some question his potential as a warrior, since he shied away from such things.
Wrong way 'round - As it is the truth that he's not the most vicious cat around, he's also not the brightest bulb in the box. He's not stupid, not even close, but he does have moments where he misses something that should be obvious to everyone. Often, it's frustrating for him and others who run into this road block with him, and can make tempers short in the middle of stressful situation. In many ways, Rainwhisker does things reverse of what others would do, but somehow ends up with the same result. This can be frustrating and confusing for some, or amusing for others, but Rainwhisker gets it done in the end. Most would say, judging just by his Clan, that he's the opposite of a majority of them, but all in all, Rainwhisker is just under the belief that the other Clans just don't know them all that well.
history...Kit Rainwhisker was born Rainkit, and he was born with two other brothers. Ashkit and Rook-kit. He ws the only white out of the litter, the other two being dark orange in color. Out of the three, he was the one most likely to lay about, the chill, to relax and to watch the world roll by. His brothers were the ones who were playing, pouncing, and fighting with one another. He, was much more content to simply play referee, or lsiten to stories. Though, there were days where he played with his brothers, but they were rare and far between. His mother worried for him, but his father didn't think he was too odd, as Rainkit was almost as laid back as his sire. Still, his mother would spend hours a day, trying to get him to play or fight with his siblings, despite the fact that he simply had no desire to do so. Often times, when she thought he couldn't hear her, she would whisper her fears, that he would never make a warrior, and that he would simply be a burden on the Clan. It hurt, yes, but he loved his mother still, even if he was sub-par in her eyes.
Apprentice: Rainkit became Rainpaw along with his brothers, who were Rookpaw and Ashpaw. They were stronger, fiercer, and better fighters than their littermate, but the one thing they couldn't best him in was tracking, and stalking. Rainwhisker's quiet mouth and easy going attitude assured that he could lie in wait for hours, or simply wait for the right shot. His mentor, a moody old tiger by the name of Blackear, complained plenty about his lazy apprentice, but he had to admit, he had the potential to do great things when it came to hunting or stalking. While he wasn't an outstanding apprentice, he had his strengths, and in time he became a warrior. Wasn't he a lucky tiger?
Warrior: Rainwhisker is now a warrior, and though he's a rather slow, lazy, and unmotivated warrior, he'll do anything for his Clan. He just hopes it won't happen when he's in the middle of his nap.
