NOT GONNA STOP UNTIL MY HEART STOPS BEATING
NOT GONNA STOP UNTIL MY LAST BREATH COMES
I'M GONNA GO UNTIL I HIT THE FLOOR
AND CAN'T FIND MY WAY BACK TO MY FEET

name...amberwind
age...54
gender...female
clan...tigerclan
position...warrior
species...bengal tiger
apperance...At first glance, Amberwind's appearance can be misleading. While she's not much smaller than the average female Bengal weighing in at 290lbs, Amberwind's muscles are smooth and hidden beneath a thin layer of fatty tissue, making her seem smaller and less bulky than she is. Her flexible limbs are long and springy which allow her to pounce and run both more accurately and at speeds unrivaled by few of her species. Her thick pelt is dappled with golden browns and oranges that ripple thickly with each step. Regardless of the weather or time of year, Amberwind's fur is uncharacteristically fuzzy and warm which is a source of constant irritation for the tigress. Her round orbs are a deep brown color, much different than the typical ambers or blues of other tigers.
personality...Headstrong and determined, there are few cats with tongues slick enough to deter Amberwind from whatever endeavor she has in mind. A dedicated warrior to the bitter end, she is certainly a bit of a workaholic. Every waking moment is spent keeping an eye out for the clan, doing anything asked of her by a higher ranked tiger, and encouraging others to lend a paw and do as much as they can for others. She has an incredibly steel-like work ethic that leaves little to no time for relaxation or playtime. Many of her clanmates blame that lack of free time for her usual uptight demeanor and somewhat snappy replies. Amberwind can be very moody and easily set off with a hot temper and a sharp - though proper - tongue, she makes no effort to hide her frustration whenever it hits.
Always trying to help others even if they don't necessarily see it the same way she does, Amberwind is often critical of those around her. She will find flaws or bad habits the cats around her portray and pick at them, hoping to help strengthen those "weaknesses" she sees. The only problem with this is that most of the lions are already fully aware of their own habits or weaknesses and simply get annoyed whenever Amberwind points them out. Many think of her as a know-it-all, though really she feels like she will forever be more like an apprentice. Amberwind knows there is a plethora of knowledge in the world and she feels she will never know it all, since she never allows herself the time to ponder any of the questions buzzing around her head day to day.
history...Born inside the borders of Tigerclan, Amberwind's kithood was very standard for a warrior-born kit. She had three siblings, a sister and two brothers that rarely went anywhere without each other. Amberwind was especially close to her mother, Featherpelt, whom many in the clan looked down upon. Featherpelt was small for a tiger and often sickly, and few thought she could grow to be much of a warrior, much less survive birthing four average-sized kits. But every bit as determined as her oldest daughter would grow to be, the tigress dedicated every second of every day to proving others wrong about her. Due to her close bond with her mother, Amberwind adopted the same general mentality, though hers became much more obsessive and, at times, quite annoying.
Deciding to never give anyone the chance to underestimate her the way her mother had been, Amberwind took everything around her very seriously - much too seriously, honestly. As a young apprentice, she bugged her mentor day in and day out, always looking for something else to do that would help her, always asking for some task or test, anything to help her improve herself. It was the relief of many when she finally graduated from Amberpaw to Amberwind and no longer had to pester everyone with questions of things she could do. Feeling it is part of her job description to take on an apprentice and mentor them in the ways of Tigerclan, Amberwind cannot wait to be assigned a young tiger to look after. While the rest of the clan will be hoping Amberwind doesn't drill the poor thing into an early grave, she thinks that any apprentice would be as dedicated as she was, and will push them until they're everything she thinks they should be.
While she doesn't have the time to socialize and relax, Amberwind appreciates her family and has remained close to her sister, and sometimes will spend a moment or two talking with her when Amberwind isn't busy being...well, Amberwind.
