APPEARANCE...Shadow is as her name says, a shadow. Her pelt is jet black and quite short. It is soft to the touch as, unlike some loners, she takes the time to groom it. She had no visible markings or distinguishing features, except for her eyes. Shadow's eyes are a pale green and sparkles with her youth and playfulness. Her legs are long and powerful and her claws are jet black, like her fur. They are needle sharp and would be best to stay away from them in a battle. Her tail is long and sturdy, so don't get bashed by it as it will hurt. Her teeth are sharper than her claws and her teeth are one of her greatest weapons.
PERSONALITY...Shadow is a very shy leopard. She will not fight for no reason, but will fight for prey, defense of herself, and perhaps even a little territory. She is a very skilled fighter and isn't afraid to take a life to get what she wants. She will sometimes even kill just for fun. She is a sick minded creature, preferring to drink blood over water and has MPD. Throughout her short life, she has developed three personalities. A loving and caring personality called Faith, a truly evil personality named Nyx, and her calm and shy personality she calls Shadow. I wouldn't mess with Shadow when she is Nyx, however.
Shadow: Shadow is a very calm leopard. She tends to keep away from others due to her shyness and just likes to be on her own. She is quite independent and likes her silence. You will often see Shadow under a tree seemingly asleep, but really she is just listening to nature. She likes the sounds of the world and her surroundings. Shadow is also very adventurous and will explore anything she deems 'suspicious'. She will find any excuse, any excuse at all to explore caves, rivers, the plains, anything. She is curious, bottom line. However, Shadow is also very protective of herself and those she cares about. She will defend herself and those she cares for until she dies, if necessary. But don't ask her to spy on anyone for you, she will immediately refuse. She hates bothering others and hates to spy on others even more. Her age in this personality is around 37 moons. This side of Shadow usually comes out when she is around large crowds or when she is in distress.
Faith: Faith is a very loving character. She will help anyone in need and is quite the Chatty McKathy. She will talk your ears off and knows all the facts that usually nobody cares about. She is very energetic and can go on for days without sleep, though she will eventually collapse and rest. She likes to hunt and run and play. It isn't often you find Faith being serious. When she is, it is never a good thing... ever. She likes to think she is a lion, as strong as ever and she actually does think she is a lion. She will sometimes stride right into LionClan territory and not even flinch when confronted by a patrol. Faith thinks fighting is icky and will run from a battle, no matter who is included in it. The age of Faith is around 10 moons old. This side of Shadow comes out when Faith is feeling quite happy and energetic.
Nyx: Then there is Nyx. Nyx is the darkest of the cats, the most cruel, evil, most diabolical of all the personalities. She likes to kill for fun and will often just take the lives of prey as slowly as she can, causing then as much pain as she can for as long as she can before she gets bored and just walks away to let the prey die. She is also a pig! Nyx would rather steal prey than hunt for it and will eat until she pops. She finds herself braver than she actually is and usually acts without thinking. She never thinks things through and this often gets her into danger. But when faced with threats, Nyx shows no fear. None at all. She is sometimes admired for her bravery by others, but this isn't often. The age of Nyx is 19 moons. This side of Shadow usually comes out when she is hungry, bored, or faced with a threat. When faced with a threat, Nyx will force Shadow to hand herself over to her evil side so she can defend herself and Nyx can live on in Shadow's body.
When Shadow is either Faith or Nyx, and comes back to her normal self, she will not remember a thing that had happened, or what she had done. She will come out a little exhausted very confused. This is why she tends to keep away from others, so Nyx cannot hurt anyone.
HISTORY...Shadow was born from LeopardClan, since her father was a warrior there, named Shadeclaw, and met Shadow's mother Serena. They became mates and had kits, though nobody knew that Shadeclaw's mate was a loner. Shadow grew up, only meeting her father every so often and playing with him even less. She never got to see her siblings either, they were taken by ShadeClaw to LeopardClan after the agreement between Shadow's parents. So she never knew her brothers. As soon as Shadow was able to hunt for herself, she left her mother to get out on her own, to learn on her own. Now, she still wanders the plains.
