Snowtuft was in the territory, snow rising to her chest as she moved. It was snowing heavily and it was hard to see the tigress through the powder, like a ghost in a snow storm. She was a white beast, a beautiful one. Her ice blue eyes stung as snow was blown harshly into her face. Her whiskers were weighed down with ice and her legs screamed for rest, but she knew she couldn't. Snow clung to Snowtuft's pelt in ragged clumps, making the journey all the harder. She stopped with heavy eye lids half open and jaws slightly gaping. She was exhausted. Snowtuft and had traveled from the territory and was making her way back to camp, but she felt too tired and weak from hunger to keep going. She growled with determination and continued on. Her massive, white paws felt like boulders as she almost collapsed with every step. She struggled to keep herself up until finally she collapsed, unable to go any further. Weariness hung in her bones like a relentless shadow, weighing her down. It felt good to rest, to just lay down. She clung to life like the snow on her white fur. The wind blasted in the open above the hole she made with her massive frame, howling like the mournful cry of a wolf. It was peaceful as she closed her eyes, giving way to dizzying darkness as she felt the snow slowly covering her, burying her alive. Who knew death could be so peaceful?
OOC: I was thinking Dragonstar could come in and see the hole from a distance and kind of smell Snowtuft's scent in the wind and be like 'OH NO!' and rescue her... Just an idea. xD

He shouldn't have left camp, what with the blizzard. It had been too crowded, though, and he'd needed to get away. It hadn't been difficult to slip past the other members. They were cuddled close together for warmth and protection, and he was white in coloration. He was a sturdy tiger, the weather hardly bothered him as much as it should. He'd grown tough by pushing himself too far, too hard, too often. But it had paid off. He stood strong against the buffeting wind and plowed through the snow with what could be seen as relative ease. His sights were set on the trees nearby, a pine section where the branches, still coated in needles, provided shelter as well as isolation.
He was startled into stopped when his pawstep didn't sink nearly as much as it should have. In fact, it hit something that was most certainly not ground or snow. He dug cautiously, not sure if it was a living creature who would need to be put out of its misery or just the remains of a carcass, left half eaten in a hurry to get to shelter. What he found was neither, but was instead one of his warriors. He cleared the snow away further, teeth sinking into the scruff of her neck. The copse of trees was closer than the camp, it would be wiser to shelter there. Sure, the medicine cat wasn't there, but warmth would be enough to keep her alive until the storm was over, hopefully. And if it wasn't, she was probably too far gone to save anyway.
He began to pull, to drag her toward the trees, toward the place so sheltered that he could swear the snow was just a thin layer and nothing more, minor in comparison to the drifts already forming out here in the open. Not to mention, a good, rough shake of the pine trees would sprinkle down a good cover for the ground, an insulation from the cold of the snow beneath. Yes, it would be perfect, at least for now. The sooner it ended and he get her back to camp, though, the better. He was no healer, just a survivor.

Snowtuft woke an hour later, her eyes nearly frozen shut. She blinked a few times and saw the storm still blasting around. She closed her eyes again and drifted into darkness once more. When she woke a second time, she felt a little stronger and looked around to find Dragonstar with her. Is that why she was a little warmer and under some trees? She groaned and layed upright, looking at Dragonstar with drooping eye lids. Where am I? She asked drowsily. Her limbs still ached terribly, her joints refusing to hold her up and she fell back on her side with a groan of exhaustion. How long have I been out? She asked curiously. Then she remembered what happened and sprang to her paws, wobbling and stumbled to one side for a moment. Her legs threatened to buckle. Am I dead? Did you die too? Where is the rest of StarClan? She blasted her leader with questions. Suddenly, her legs buckled and she fell to the ground in a heap of white fur. She hissed with pain that crackled through her hind, left paw and looked at it, sniffing at it curiously and felt heat radiating from the joint. Her ankle was swelled a little, but not broken. Probably just a sprain. She growled and tried to sit up, but her muscles screamed with the effort.
OOC: Sorry, its not my best post.

For the first while, he'd licked her fur backwards, like he'd seen queens do with their cubs on the colder nights. Eventually, she'd begun to shiver - her body took over the process of trying to warm itself up again, so he let it be and got up, peering out at the storm. It wasn't near stopping. He sighed and had paced for awhile, impatient but also knowing it would help keep him warm.
Then, she came around, properly that is, and he looked over, watching her as she tried to get up, twice, and failed both times. He stayed silent for a moment as she assaulted him with a battery of questions. Finally, though, he'd had enough and growled softly, expecting her to respect that he wanted her to just shut up. No one ever said Dragonstar was polite, and he didn't intend to be unless he felt like it and right now he certainly didn't.
Under some trees, out of the snow, and you've been out for some time.
He replied dryly before reaching out and pushing on her shoulder with a paw, intending to force her to just lay down and rest. He didn't know what else would be good for her, but rest was always useful for anything regarding helping the body. Then, he moved away again, checking the weather for the millionth time with an annoyed growl. Still not letting up.

She growled as he pushed her back to the ground, lashing her snowy tail at him. She tried to sit up again. She sat up quickly, thinking he would just push her over again. If he tried to put her on the ground again, Dragonstar would lose a paw. How long? She asked, a snarl in her voice. She was irritated at him for growling at her, then trying to get her to lay down again. She had trouble with authority, she didn't like it unless she was the one giving authority over others. She stood up fully, looking at the trees, before leaping and landing clumsily against the trunk, digging her claws in and hoisting herself onto the first high branch, laying down on the thick branch and letting her legs drape over the sides, her tail balanced on the top of the branch. She layed her head down and yawned, showing long, sharp teeth. So, how come your out in the storm, Dragonstar? Snowtuft said, yawning again. She struggled to stay awake as she spoke. But before Dragonstar could answer, Snowtuft's eyes closed and she drifted off into slumber. She woke up again and the sun was shining upon the land, turning the snow into a thousand shiny crystals, blinding the tigress. She growled with irritation, nearly falling out of the tree. She started to slip off the branch. With a yowl of sudden fear, she drug her claws into the bark and dangled, her hind paws flailing helplessly in the air below her. She gritted her teeth and bunched her muscles, clawing her way back onto the branch. Finally, she stood on the branch and made her way slowly down the tree. She sighed with relief when her paws touched the solid ground. Best be heading back to camp. Snowtuft shook her fur and started to push her way through the wall of snow.
